Viento(2016)
The most intimate parts of our selves are segments that we ourselves rarely notice. Intimacy for me is found within the self and within the boundaries of others. In these moments, we find every breath, every beat, every ounce of warmth through other individuals to be inviting.
Viento is a memory, a specific moment, a time, a place, a special space. It is a distant memory found within the crevices of another. It is representative of these conditions that place themselves in the self metaphysical. As humans, we forget that our bodies adapt with time. While some may not treasure time as I do, I find comfort in that time and welcome it as a friend.
